Margarida Campolargo
Open and Agile Smart Cities Representative
Margarida Campolargo has a MSc. in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto (FAUP) and completed two postgraduate studies at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and at the Escola Superior de Dissenny i Enginyeria de Barcelona (ELISAVA).

She made her thesis and further research work on Urban and Social Sustainability with numerous publications. She worked in several non-profit organizations and integrated the board of youth associations, participating in activities for the definition of Public policies for Youth.

Since 2011 she has been working in urban planning and project management with projects in Smart Cities field, such as the Campus del Diagonal-Besòs, MyNeighbourhood Project and Human Smart Cities Network. She became a consultant for Porto Municipality in international projects in 2015 and Head of Smart Cities Unit of Porto Digital (from Porto Municipality) from 2016 to 2018. She is currently the Portuguese representative of Open and Agile Smart Cities (OASC) in Portugal, Vice-President of International Relations of the Brazilian Network of Human Smart Cities and Lecturer at the University Institute of Maia (ISMAI) as well as CEO of Pointify, a company developing work in Smart Tourism and Smart Cities.
